MCMMO is a plugin that adds special skills and abilities to Minecraft to create an RPG-like experience. It adds a variety of skills that can be levelled up by doing various actions and gives the player special abilities as level up progresses.
There are thirteen main skills added to the game with mcMMO along with two child skills. These skills may be broken up into three categories being gathering, combat, and miscellaneous. All skills can be levelled up through various methods. You can check your progression in a skill by running /skill in-game.
All skill levels contribute to a player’s power level. Your skill and power levels can be viewed by running /mcstats in-game. You can view the leaderboard for mcMMO stats by running /mctop skill in-game to see who has the highest level in each category. To view your own ranking in all skills, you can run /mcrank in-game.
Skill abilities are broken down into active and passive abilities. An active ability is one that must be activated by the player that only lasts for a short amount of time. All active abilities have a cooldown time of four minutes (240 seconds). Passive abilities do not need to be activated by the player and have no cooldown.
This skill is levelled up while mining stone and ore with pickaxes.
- Super Breaker: Gained at level 50, super breaker allows you to gain incredible speed and fortune for a short period of time. The ability lasts for two seconds starting at level 50 and increases one second more per 50 levels.
- Double Drops: This is a passive skill that gives a chance of dropping two of a single block/ore mined. The odds of a double drop happening go up 0.1% per level, maxing out at 100% at level 1000. This does not stack with fortune enchantments.

To use this skill, right-click while holding an axe and then chop a block of a tree as you would regularly. If successful, the entire tree above the block you broke will also come down. Your axe durability will be depleted regularly as if you broke all the logs one by one. If your axe durability is too low to take down the whole tree, the tree will not fall down and your axe will break, dealing you eight damage. This ability lasts for one second starting at level 50 and increases 1 second per 50 levels to reach a max of 22 seconds at level 1000.
- Leaf Blower: This ability is unlocked at level 150 and allows leaves to be broken instantly with an axe. The axe’s durability will be depleted regularly. Leaves will have a 10% drop rate for their respective tree sapling while using this ability.

- Green Thumb: This ability gives the chance of rapidly growing single block crops. Your herbalism level contributes to the chance and stage of growth a plant may grow to.
