Bolt is a protection plugin that allows you to lock a wide variety of items in Minecraft. Anyone that joins the server is allowed to use this plugin with no rank required.
Most items get locked when you place them and will only be accessible by you. Run /bolt in-game to get an overview of available commands.
Some items lock automatically when placed (chests, furnaces ...).
If you want to switch to a different type of protection you must first remove this private protection.
/bolt lock
The /bolt lock
or /bolt lock private
command allows you to lock compatible blocks and items.
Run /lock in-game and punch the block or item to lock compatible blocks and items.
All items should be lockable.
/bolt lock public
The /bolt lock public
command allows you to protect a block or item so that it can be accessed by anyone but only broken by you.
Run /bolt lock public in-game and punch the block or item to create a public protection.
Vestria Staff is not responsible for and will not return items lost or stolen from public chests.
/bolt lock deposit
The /bolt lock deposit
command allows you to create a protection for blocks with an inventory (chests, furnaces ...) that will allow anyone to place items into the inventory but only allow you to remove items from the inventory or break the protection.
Run /bolt lock deposit in-game and punch the block or item to create a donation protection.
/bolt lock display
The /bolt lock display
command allows you to create a protection for blocks with an inventory (chests, furnaces ...) that will allow anyone to look at the items in the inventory but only allow you to interact with the items from the inventory or break the protection.
Run /bolt lock display in-game and punch the block or item to create a donation protection.
/bolt unlock
Unlocking chests leaves your items open to be taken by any player.
The /bolt unlock
command allows you to remove the protection of an item, making it accessible and breakable by all players.
Run /bolt unlock in-game and punch the protected item to remove the protection.
Vestria Staff is not responsible for and will not return items lost or stolen from unlocked chests.
/bolt edit (add|remove) <player>
Vestria Staff is not responsible for and will not return items lost or stolen from shared chests.
The /bolt edit add <player>
command allows you to share access to a protection with a player.
Run /bolt edit add YourFriend in-game and punch an already protected block or item to grant access to that protection to YourFriend.
The /bolt edit remove <player>
command can be used to revoke access to a protection.
To undo the example from above, run /bolt edit remove YourFriend in-game and punch the protection to revoke access for YourFriend.
/bolt mode persist
Have a whole wall of chests to /bolt lock
? Just placed a million furnaces that should be public instead of private?
Have no fear, /bolt mode persist
is here!
The /bolt mode persist
command can be used to make any LWC command stick around after you run it once.
Simply run /bolt mode persist in-game and then run any other LWC command (e.g./bolt lock
). You can now just keep punching protections to apply the second command to them without having to run the command every time.
Once you're done just run /bolt mode persist again to get rid of it.
After disabling the persist mode, you will still have one more action remaining in the buffer.
To get rid of it, make sure to toggle persist mode off before you punch your last protection.
/bolt info
The /bolt info
command can be used to view information about a protection, such as the owner, when it was created and who else has access.
Run /bolt info in-game and punch a protection to view the information in the chat.
