Tinkering is Vestria's repair system for Custom Items. There are 6 ranks of tinkering, and all players start at level 1. Tinkering ranks are earned through leveling up the mcMMO repair skill and collecting increasingly powerful tools and armor sets.
As you gain levels in Tinkering, you are able to repair custom items and restore more durability! Tinkering an item costs dust, and the cost increases with the item's tier. When you repair an item through Tinkering, you will have a 100% success rate.
Only Level 6 Tinkering will repair an item to max durability. Each time an item is repaired, it's durability is brought back to a certian percentage of its previous max durability.
The percentage the items' durability restored per level are listed below.

As you rank up your tinkering level, you can restore more durability!
In practice, this may not seem entirely straightforward, so some examples of how this works are given below.
A Level 1 Tinkerer repairs a tool. The resulting durability remaining is 50% of the tool's original durability.
A Level 3 Tinkerer repairs a tool. The resulting durability remaining is 70% of the tool's original durability.
A Level 5 Tinkerer repairs a tool. The resulting durability remaining is 90% of the tool's original durability.
Anyone can check their Tinkering level with /tinker level
Head over to /warp tinkering and click the appropriate block! There are 4 blocks that correspond to the tier of your custom item. Click the block that corresponds to your item's tier.
If you don't want to visit the warp, you can do /tinker! This will consume the appropriate amount of dust and automatically detect your item's tier.
Make sure to hold the item you wish to repair in your hand! The staff team is not responsible for and will not refund any tinkering attempts made for non-custom items.
